Reason

Create a website for home use, and at the very least,
get a landing page.

Register a domain
Open port 80 to the world
Set up HTTPS		Yay LetsEncrypt!
Redirect traffic to HTTPS		Now you're secure too!
Upload Old projects		Group, Broadband, Teapot

Set up service for family and friends to back up to, as I
have the know how and drive capacity to handle it

Research bareos		Bacula fork with some issues supposedly solved
Crashplan		Decent idea, but can't get a the server set up
BTSync		Working, but the volume of files seems to crush slower systems
Rsync		Performance over SSL suffers
Custom Script		Cygwin/OS X clients working on small scale
Research Borg		Cool Idea, but lacking windows support

Having a different backup solution than a pile of HDDs would be nice.

Tape Backup		Very cheap at $.006/GB
AWS		Veracrypt volumes uploaded to Glacier storage
HDD/USB Sneakernet		Current solution, but $/GB is too high

Knowing is half the battle, and if something's wrong, it's
half-over already.

SNMP		Probable monitoring solution
Grafana		Easy way to make it look pretty

While I may have free time, there's no reason I should be
spending it all keeping this up; I should try to replace
myself with a tiny script.

LetsEncrypt		Certbot takes care of all that. Cron job away! ...when I remeber to set permissions
Config Backup		Backup server pulls over ssh from all important servers
ZFS Snapshots		Working, perhaps a bit verbosely, but this is a better-too-much situation
Cleanup Scripts		Temporary files are a pain, but `find(1)` eats disk I/O
